We recommend buying your child's age or size bracket. E.g. If your child is 3 and a half, you should buy the 4 year old size. If they are exceptionally tall, size up.
How to Measure Your Child
Grab a flexible tape measure and use our simple guide to find their exact measurements.
1Height
- Have your child stand straight with bare feet against a wall.
- Measure from the top of the head straight down to the floor.
2Chest
- Measure around the fullest part of the chest.
- Keep the tape horizontal and comfortably snug, allowing room for a deep breath.
3Waist & Hip
- Waist: Measure the natural waistline just above the belly button.
- Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Wait to Wash?
Unless explicitly marked as 'pre-shrunk', our cotton blends will shrink about 2-3% after the first wash. If it fits perfectly out of the box, consider sizing up.
Line Dry Only
For the best longevity and to preserve measurements, avoid the tumble dryer! High heat will shrink organic fibers rapidly.
Not Pre-Shrunk
Most of our organic cottons are not pre-shrunk to avoid chemical processes. Always allow 1-2cm of shrinkage tolerance.
Fabric Maintenance
Woven fabrics (like our formal wear) have no stretch. Knits (like our t-shirts) will stretch comfortably as they're worn.
Relaxed Fit
If an item says 'Relaxed Fit' or 'Oversized', buy your child's true size. Do not size up, or it will be too large.
Check the Shoes
When measuring for trousers or maxi dresses, make sure your child is wearing the shoes they intend to wear with the outfit.
